Night Cruise along Pearl River
As the 3rd longest river in China (next to the Yangtze River and the Yellow River), the Pearl River flows from west to east with 2,124 kilometers long, running across a pearl-shaped rock on its way in Guangzhou, hence its name.
The scenery along Pear River in Guangzhou section is amazing, dotted with numerous highlighted architecture and places of interests, including Shamian architecture cluster that employs architectural styles from various countries, time-honored Guangdong Customs Building and magnificent Pazhou Tower, etc.
Night cruise along Pearl River is a busy business that numerous vessel companies contend with, characterized by traditional south China style, and Tianzi Port, Xidi Port, Fangcun Port, Zhongda Port have been established after decades of development, all of which are well-equipped with modern and advanced scientific facilities, highlighted by Information Times Cruiser, Pearl Cruiser and White Seagull Cruiser. Information Times Cruiser boasts one of the most luxurious cruisers in China, whose crystal-style design makes it more fit for sightseeing and where buffets of various styles are available for visitors as well as exotic singing and dancing performances, enlarging your knowledge while appreciating fine views along river banks.
With waves rolling, the cruise runs across Jiangwan Bridge, Haizhu Bridge, Jiefang Bridge, Renmin Bridge, Haiyin Bridge and Canton Bridge successively, all of which are well-decorated with colored lights, and it seems as if you were just about to cross one rainbow to another. Standing on the deck of cruise, you will see the youth couples kissing each other under the neon lights on the river banks, affording an atmosphere of calm which is a welcome relief from the bustle of the city.
As the cruise holds a southerly course, all dynamic pictures come into my sight: the mountain ranges, the birds, mansions, the decorated archway of Zhongshan University and Xinghai Concert Hall, all of which are very impressive during night.
