As one of the top 35 attractions in China and the most celebrated beach in Beihai, Silver Beach Scenic Area stretches for 24 kilometers from east to west, which is well-known for its smooth beach, white sands, clear water and soft waves as well as free-from pollution and sharks, and it’s titled “the First Beach in the World” by visitors.
Beihai Old Street dates back to the middle of 19th century and generally refers to Zhongshan Road and Zhuhai Road, where a number of western-style architecture clusters have been successively built by accompany of old Chinese-style buildings, and it fully incorporates western culture into the traditional Chinese culture. On Beihai Old Street display various kinds of baubles featured local flavor are available, including pearl ornaments, shell ornaments, crocodile products and herbal medicines.
